Rozy had a man covered down in front of the net and Rypein came zooming in unhindered because Avery was elsewhere.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10003724016105939047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9169155003164451698.post-64422846619451681912009-11-04T13:28:08.932-05:002009-11-04T13:28:08.932-05:00To Scotty's point about Tort's selective a...To Scotty's point about Tort's selective accountability, I agree, but Higgins deserves to sit. He's terrible and doesn't deserve almost 20 minutes of ice time a game. Yeah he scored last night(finally!). Big Deal. He had two terrible hooking penalties last night and has contributed nothing to the team. Torts should have never let him back on the ice. That goes double for Redden and Rosival. Absolutely awful, no matter if they're playing a little better than last season. That's a very low bar. One last rant: Micheletti and Rosen need to hang it up. I almost switched to the TSN feed because those two bumbling idiots are intolerable. Ok, I feel better.Pavelichnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9169155003164451698.post-62670989882701416572009-11-04T09:47:21.721-05:002009-11-04T09:47:21.721-05:00That Rypein goal was all on Avery (or Arty, he cou...That Rypein goal was all on Avery (or Arty, he could have switched since Avery was out of his zone). Either way, definitely a forward's fault. You don't take the body out there as a dman, because if you miss, he's got a lane to the net.

I didn't think Byers got beat down by Glass, probably more of a draw.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9169155003164451698.post-52102974425511525772009-11-04T03:48:33.342-05:002009-11-04T03:48:33.342-05:00You're way too hard on Tinman Scotty. Yes. He ...You're way too hard on Tinman Scotty. Yes. He screwed up but had little options thanks to Rozy. And where were teammates? Nowhere. When are you going to get to the real issue of why Rozy was out there in the first place that late in a period with Redden?

Redden has played much better this season. You can't get over what he makes which I hate to say it ain't his fault. That's on the GM. He's been better than Staal, Girardi and Hobey most of the season. Tho it's nice to see Gilroy coming around finally.

You don't send down a D who for the most part is getting it. He's won a lot more battles, showing that he worked hard. As for Rozy, he's a natural disaster. Even a phantom call goes against him. I see it as a total loss of confidence along with the wear and tear catching up. The guy never takes the body letting up like on the 2nd goal which Avery forgot to to take Rypien on. They should just give Rozsival the rest of his money and recall Sanguinetti. Let's find out what he can do.

Good on Byers standing up for a 'mate. The melee was great. The broken glass wasn't. Someone could've gotten seriously hurt.

The coach takes a hit for not playing Artie on the top line. He needs to wake up already.Derekhttp://battleofny.comnoreply@blogger.com
