Where We Are: Even with the shootout loss, the Rangers are flying, 4-0-3 in the last seven and 8-1-4 in the last 13.
Where They Are: Losers of five straight, with the last four to all Southeast Division teams and the last one a 6-1 thrashing in Atlanta (like what I did there? thrashing? get it? ha!). The losing is of no surprise as the team is filled with Binghamton's best, due to all of the Sens top talent being injured to some degree - Daniel Alfredsson, Jason Spezza, Milan Michalek and Filip Kuba are all out.
Who To Watch For: Our old pal Chris Neil is back from injury and the spineless super pest Jarkko Ruutu is still around, of course. Mike Fisher hasn't scored in the last 14 games but still goes home to a hot woman every night so more power to him. Maybe she will show up at the Garden and light up the place. Alex Kovalev is still the mercurial kid we knew so well - some incredible games, some terrible games. Given what he did against us while with the Habs in the Montreal Massacre, you can never count Kovy out. I always liked Mike Foligno and his kid Nick is turning into a solid player in his own right.
What To Watch For: See how much gas is left in the Ranger tank after Monday. How many goals can the Blueshirts score considering Pascal Leclaire and Brian Elliott both have been horrid of late. Chris Phillips and Anton Volchenkov to hound Marian Gaborik. Neil vs. Avery. Jonathan Cheechoo showing any signs of being the player he once was in San Jose.
What We'll (Hopefully) See: Would love to see Chad DosNueve Johnson get the call and give Hank a rest but I don't think that will happen.
Also Check Out: Sens Army is closed down but Five For Smiting and Black Aces are still going strong, as is SBN's Silver Seven.

"Fisher goes home to a hot woman every night"....hot yes, but if her speaking voice is anything like her yelody style singing voice, he's goin' home wearing ear plugs!
Torts is a fucking moron. To have Anisimov - who is already a defensive liability - on the ice in the last 2 minutes AFTER HE WAS VIRTUALLY TKO'd - to the point he that he was COMPLETELY UNPHASED by the smelling salts waved under his nose - shows literal retardation on Torts' part.
Once again, the guys behind the bench and in the office prove to be the biggest liabilities on the ice.
