So who am I?

- I am Ranger fan and season ticket holder who is more than a little obsessed with hockey. The first thing I can remember is watching a Ranger game with my dad, listening to him yell "Shoot the puck Barry!" I loathe the Islanders, hate everyone else in the Atlantic and despise Mmmaarrrttttyyyy and Cindy. While I am a objective journalist in real life (seriously), this is NOT a media site and is kept quite far from my profession; it is simply an outlet for me to let loose my opinions of the Blueshirts - very distinctly Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde. My Ranger rantings and ravings have appeared on (or been linked to) such notable sites as the New York Times, Puck Daddy, Deadspin and NBC's Pro Hockey Talk - and I can't thank them enough. You could have made the same "lowlight" reel of Brian Leetch's first season.

The +20 did not factor in the playoffs...
Yeah, he sucked in the playoffs. You'd think his Grandma died or something ... oh wait, she did?
Leetch wasn't as bad his first season as MDZ was in HIS THIRD.
Aww, his mee maw passed away. Must be devastating. Oh wait, he played anyway? Then that performance is on him. No excuses.
MDZ puts up nice numbers offensively.
His defensive skills are atrocious.
Deal with it people.
He needs to be moved to a wing to "show off his offense" and let the team bring up some of the young guys who can actually play defense. This way he won't be as much of a liability on defense and can still score the same 40 points, or more.
