The New York Islanders could barely win games this season and they couldn't win the draft lottery tonight. They remain in fifth, with Tampa Bay retaining the top pick as the biggest loser.
Sucks to be the Isles ... but at least they have plenty of time to scout! Thanks to Kevin at BMR for the deMotivator, I know that as an Islander fan, he is testing said patience right about now.
I'm about ready for the playoffs, how about you??
BTW - anyone else that watched the TSN broadcast on Versus think that something was ... amiss ... when TSN tossed to a NHL Playoff Preview show and Versus went to Holy @#!%? Yeah, the NHL is better off on Versus than anywhere else. /sarcasm
