The Philadelphia Flyers announced that they have signed 6'3", 210-pound center Blair Betts to a one-year contract.I make no bones about it, Bettsy was a favourite. It will be tough to see him playing for the Flyers but it's good that a hard working, honest player like him got a job. So congrats and good luck Bettsy, just not against us.

Betts was a gamer. Something that our current roster has so far showed too few of outside of Cally. That's why he was such a favorite for any Rangers fan. When I heard the news of his Flyers tryout, I knew Philly would jump on the opportunity. He'll be a perfect fit... Damn it.
