The Future's So Bright I Gotta Wear Shades

The baby Rangers have won back-to-back games at the Traverse City Prospects tournament.

Artem Anisimov, who got bitch-slapped around by Team Canada during the first five games of the eight-game Super Series (that is still going on), overcame an ugly knee-on-knee hit in Game 3 to join the little Rangers and score two goals in the second game in Traverse City as they beat Atlanta 5-3. They will play Detroit in the final round robin game on Monday.

Brandon Dubinsky, who scored two goals in the first game (a 6-4 win over the baby Bolts), also scored against Atlanta. Reports say that he is dominating play alongside Alex Bourret.

So take that all of you idiots who tried to sell me on the Rangers' need for a free agent third-line center! The competition for that spot when big-boy camp starts on the 14th should be awesome.

Let's Go Rangers!
